April's 5kBy5pm Giveaway Challenge

Hey guys! I have partnered with my friend Alexis from FlecksofLex.com to challenge you to a #5kby5pm Giveaway Challenge.


What is a 5k by 5pm Giveaway Challenge you may ask? For the entire month of April we encourage you guys to shoot for 5,000 steps 5 pm. I know I am not alone when I say I have found myself sedentary lately. This challenge is a great way to stay motivated to be active each day.


To enter to win the #5kby5pm challenge you must enter through the rafflecopter link below. The purpose is to engage with Alexis and I through social media. With that being said, take a photo of your pedometer or sports watch and tag Alexis and me in your photo. Make sure to use the hashtags #5kBy5pm. At the end of April, each one of us will choose a winner and gift a $25.00 Amazon Gift Card. Who wouldn't want to be rewarded for staying active?

How To Track Your Steps

The easiest way to track your steps is to use a pedometer. They are quite cheap now and easy to find (they are often called "sports band'). If you have a sports watch or smartwatch such as Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung, or Apple it would have a built-in step counter.

Here's 6 Ways I Plan To Get My 5,000 Steps By 5 pm

-Long walks with my daughter

-Learning choreography from Beyonce's Homecoming

-At home workouts

-Running outside

-Dancing around the house to my Spotify Playlist

-Learning the Flamenco (yes you read correctly)
